School Safety Initiative Program
Through the SSI programs, students of all ages learn how to prevent accidents before they happen. Since accidents do occur even with the best prevention, students also learn how to prepare for and respond to a variety of emergency situations. They learn basic first aid skills, gain an understanding of how natural disasters occur, and learn how to deal with terrorism and tragic events. Learn more…

Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Training
Our LNA program is a State of New Hampshire certified and NH Board of Nursing approved program which provides and affordable gateway into the healthcare field. The program offers 180 hours of classroom and clinical site participation. The students learn patient/client care to maintain an independent quality lifestyle in long term facilities, the home and acute care facilities/hospitals. You must be 16 years of age and must attend a personal interview to see if you qualify. Learn more…
Youth Programs
The NH Gateway Chapter American Red Cross and the Boy Scouts of America have enjoyed a close working relationship. The Scouts Venture Crew 911 is a group of young women and men ages 14-21, who are focused on emergency services. The crew has 10 active members. In addition the chapter also has the Youth Initiative Club for ages 15-18; their focus this year has been to raise money for the Measles Initiative Program and for Operation Military Kids. Both youth programs are for Nashua and surrounding towns we serve and meet regularly at the Red Cross Chapter. Most of the members have all gone through basic CPR and First Aid training and some members are now certified Red Cross instructors and work in activities that serve the community. Learn more…
International Services
The Red Cross is proud of how it makes a difference in the lives of people around the world every day. Our chapter helps to link people separated during times of disaster or conflict, provides instruction and resources on International Humanitarian Law, and helps other Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to build vital programs and services in developing countries. We connect Southeastern Pennsylvania with the world.
