Thanks to The Cogswell Benevolent Trust for thier contribution to purchase Disaster Response Materials. This will help strengthen the disaster response to build a service delivery system that combines chapter material and human resources. Part of our Mission is to provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Every day we provide information on how families should be disaster prepared. Our goal as a chapter is to also to Be Red Cross Ready when a large scale disaster happens.

The NH Gateway Chapter of the American Red Cross was awarded a $14,864 grant from the Nashua region of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to help pay the cost of hiring a full-time Health & Safety Education Assistant.
"Working with our volunteer Board members and a volunteer HR Committee, we have developed a plan to reorganize the Chapter staff to maximize the time and talents of our paid and volunteer staff," said Rebecca Justice, Executive Director of the NH Gateway Chapter.
"Our goal is operate more effectively and efficiently given the challenges of this economic climate and with the chapter's recent addition of 3 new communities: Salem, Pelham and Windham."
The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has been improving the quality of life in our communities since 1962.
